Working Groups - your help is needed……
We are looking for advocates to join three working groups that have been formed as a result of our community engagement process in January. General descriptions of these groups are provided below. Please click on the ‘Get Involved’ link in the footer of this page if you are interested in joining a group. Your participation and ideas will help us advance our mission.
Clean Energy Transition Group
We plan to investigate ways that SDCEA can take a more sustainable approach to energy generation, storage and consumption, as well as find out how programs and infrastructure can support community members at all income levels.
Election Working Group
We will evaluate and support SDCEA Board candidates, new and incumbent, who can successfully help steer the cooperative through a transition to a future with local, clean energy.
Education Working Group
We will work to inform people about clean / renewable energy-related topics so they can increase energy efficiency and save money. Sharing knowledge about energy topics as they pertain to both individuals and communities will help people understand what is possible.
