Election Hub

Mark your calendars to attend a Candidate Forum to support Sandy and learn more about her experience and ideas for your electric co-op!

All donations to AVEF in April & May will go towards supporting Sandy in her efforts to get elected!

In this year’s election, AVEF is endorsing Sandy Long for SDCEA’s vacant At-Large board seat. Her technical and business expertise are what’s needed to ask the hard questions, tackle new challenges and modernize aspects of our electric cooperative.

SDCEA’s Board of Directors is in charge of making decisions that impact the electric cooperative for years to come. SDCEA’s elections are critical, and it’s important that each member’s voice is heard! With rapidly changing energy technologies, finding the right path for SDCEA will require vision, effort, research and debate. It is essential that we elect Directors ready to lead us in the direction of a modern, renewable energy business model instead of continuing to rely on an outdated business model.

Click on the links below to learn more about Sandy’s experience and her answers to questions posed by SDCEA and AVEF about her experience, priorities, member engagement and views on the rapidly changing energy landscape and climate change.
